Iran's Missile Program, a talk with Michael Elleman
Thursday, March 28, 2019, 04:00pm - 05:30pm

Michael Elleman is the Interim Director of Non-Proliferation and the Nuclear Policy Program as well as a Senior Fellow for Missile Defense at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in Washington, D.C. He is a co-author of Uncertain Future: The JCPOA and Iran's Missile Program as well as the author of Iran’s Ballistic Missile Capabilities: A net assessment.

Mr. Elleman will address the four security threats Iran's missile program poses for American foreign policy in the Middle East. In doing so, he analyzes the question of whether Iran can re-fit its conventional warheads with nuclear warheads, the challenges posed by Tehran supplying missiles to proxy groups across the region, and how the US versus Europe has addressed these issues.

Location: Rutgers Academic Building, West Wing, Room 2150, 15 Seminary Place, New Brunswick
