Profile
Hany A. Mawla is associated with the law firm of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith, Ravin, Davis & Himmel, LLP. He concentrates his practice in litigation of matrimonial, non-matrimonial and other complex family law related matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mawla was an associate at two New Jersey law firms where he also concentrated in litigation. He previously served as a law clerk for the Honorable Craig Randall Harris, of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Division, Essex County.

Mr. Mawla is a graduate of Rutgers University, Livingston College (1995) with honors and high honors in political science. He received his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law (1998), where he served as an intern for the Family Law Clinic at the Seton Hall University School of Law Center for Social Justice.

Mr. Mawla is an accredited mediator of the Superior Court of New Jersey and is a panelist in the Early Settlement Program for Family Court matters in both Essex and Morris Counties. Mr. Mawla is also an adjunct professor at Rutgers University in the Department of Political Science and the Center for Middle East Studies. He is a member of the Advisory Board for the Center for Middle East Studies and is a member of the Advisory Council to the Dean of Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Rutgers University.

Mr. Mawla is fluent in Arabic and is a member of the New Jersey Arab and Muslim Advisory Committee to the Office of Bias Crime and Community Relations of the Office of the Attorney General in the Department of Law and Public Safety. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
