Hamid Abdejaber, the former Chief of the Middle East Radio Unit at the News and Media Division of the Department of Public Information at the United Nations, has worked for the UN for over 25 years.  He has carried out missions and assignments in Libya, Iraq, Kuwait, Pakistan, Afghanistan and the Occupied Palestine Territories.  He will be teaching Islam and Democracy in the Arab world.
